The Thailand’s national currency is going to remain strong into 2020, driven by a rising surplus in the country’s trade balance, analysts say.
The exchange rate of the baht against the U.S. dollar is predicted to float at around 29.75 for the first six months and may reach 29.25 by the year end. According to Reuters, the baht was named Asia’s best performing currency of 2019, up nearly 7% against the dollar.
