Trang’s Hat Chao Mai and Surat Thani’s Mu Ko Ang Thong National Parks were honored as ASEAN Heritage Parks during the recent 15th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment, bringing the number of the ASEAN Heritage Parks in Thailand to six in total.
The Ang Thong National Marine Park is made up of 42 spell-binding islands and has a total area of 102 square kilometers, of which about 50 square kilometers are land and the rest is water.
