Thailand Lauded for Environmental Achievements

Two popular Thai resort areas have been recognized with awards at the 2018 annual session of the Global Forum on Human Settlements and Sustainable Cities Awards ceremony held 30-31 October at the U.N. Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok. Krabi, one of the Kingdom’s most spectacular southern provinces, was named the Global Low-Carbon Ecological Scenic Spot, and the Hua Hin royal resort received the Global Green City award.
