Michelin Guide Coming to Thailand

01 December 2017

The first Bangkok edition of the Michelin Guide will debut on 6 December at the Grand Hyatt Erawan. Introduction of the guide is a large step toward advancing the Kingdom’s food industry, putting Thai cuisine on the global gastronomic map, and taking the nation’s restaurant business to a higher level.

The Michelin Guide Bangkok will be published in print and electronic versions, and be available in English and Thai.

Bangkok is also renowned for its street food. Earlier this year, CNN Traveler lauded Thai dishes listing many of them among the world’s best. According to Bangkok chefs, the most popular dish in the capital is a crispy mussel omelet, and the best savoury street food can be found in Chinatown.
